Now let’s see.. The MCO was extended = #StayHome / read more books. However, I did managed to get back to work for the last 2 weeks of April. I still managed to read a shit ton of books. Excuse my language. Cough, I’m very excited. Ahem, the total tally of books read for April is:

2 more books compared to last month! This is a big win for me 🙂 I will never be able to read this amount of books unless I stay home for another whole month which will be very difficult since I started working again. May will be an estimated 10 books, or even less 😦

Books I read :

You will notice that most of the books are poetry books. I was in mood for poetry in April. And I had 1 month of free membership to Scribd, an online reading platform. Thanks to that little perk, there were a lot of pros. Aka, poetry books! One of my favourite read has to be Every Word you Cannot Say by Lain S. Thomas. I love it so much that I will buy the book even after reading it online. Oh! And An Ocean of Grey by Kamalia Hasni as well. It needs to go on my shelf. It is by a local author. Need I say more? You can read my review by tapping on the title. It will lead you straight to my blog post. I will be undoubtedly sad when my membership ends on 11th of May.

Stay safe everyone. Even though the MCO is being lifted, let us all do our part to maintain social distancing & keep the number of cases to the lowest.

20 books! I read 8 in my first month of being locked down at home and I thought that was impressive haha – I’ve got nothing on you. Stay safe now you’re back at work!
